Doja Cat – “Vie” (New Album)
Doja Cat has released her fifth studio album, Vie, on September 26, 2025. The project marks a return to a pop-driven sound with heavy influence from the 1980s, blending elements of pop, R&B, funk and hip hop.
The album was recorded between 2024 and 2025 at Miraval Studios in France and explores themes of love, romance, intimacy and self-discovery. Doja Cat has described the project as a more personal take on relationships, including both the highs and struggles of connection.
Vie includes production from Jack Antonoff, Y2K, Kurtis McKenzie, Sounwave and Ambezza, among others. The lead single, “Jealous Type,” was released in August, supported by a creative promotional campaign called the Vie Hotline, where fans could interact with relationship-themed messages.
The cover art for the album shows Doja Cat hanging from a yellow parachute caught in a tree while wearing a white dress. While some fans criticized the imagery, she explained it symbolizes risk, growth and trust.
To support the album, Doja Cat has announced the Ma Vie World Tour, beginning November 18, 2025 in Auckland, with dates across Oceania, Asia and other regions.
Vie continues Doja Cat’s reputation for bold artistic choices and her ability to reinvent herself while staying at the center of pop culture.
