Producer Metro Boomin has been found not liable in a civil sexual assault case filed by Vanessa LeMaistre. A Los Angeles jury delivered the verdict after a multi-day trial.

LeMaistre accused Metro Boomin of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2016 during a visit to his studio. She claimed the incident resulted in a pregnancy she later terminated and alleged he referenced her in his 2017 lyrics.

Metro Boomin denied all allegations, stating the encounter was consensual. His legal team argued the lawsuit was an attempt to extort money years after the alleged incident.

During the trial, LeMaistre referenced a handwritten note she wrote during an ayahuasca retreat in 2024, which she claimed brought the memory of the assault back. The defense dismissed this as unreliable.

Metro Boomin reacted to the verdict by thanking God and expressing relief. He said:

“I’m grateful and thankful to God that I can finally put all of this nonsense behind me.”

He also said the accusations caused serious damage to his life and reputation.

LeMaistre’s attorney stated they plan to appeal the verdict, citing potential legal errors during the trial.

The case is now closed, but the plaintiff’s legal team is expected to file further motions in the coming weeks.
