Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet Wore Matching Black Leather Looks to Jimmy Kimmel Live! – See Photos
Sure, we’re excited about Dune 2’s cinematic universe, but what we’re really pumped about is the fact that new movie press cycle means a plethora of fashion from Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet. Both actors are key style players in their own right, but when they get together, it’s true sartorial magic. Case in point: their new matching leather moment.
For an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, both Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet opted for leather — and lots of it. Let’s start with Zendaya, shall we? The actor plays Chani, the love interest of Chalamet’s character Paul; she had a fairly minor role in the first movie but will be much more present in the forthcoming sequel.
To chat with Kimmel, Zendaya wore a minimalist long leather blazer left unbuttoned at the bottom, exposing her midriff, and paired it with low-rise leather pants with a slouchy, scrunched-up hem over pointed-toe heels, all in sleek, chic black.
Chalamet, who plays Dune’s hero Paul Atreides, went more casual than his costar for the talk show stop. He wore a sleeveless black Stüssy sweatshirt with grommet details over a pair of leather pants designed to look just like jeans, plus black boots. Per usual, his curls were thriving. (Timmy actually put on a cozy knit for the actual broadcast.)
This isn’t the first time the costars and friends have worn coordinating looks to promote the film franchise. In early 2023, they posed on the red carpet at CinemaCon in Las Vegas wearing his-and-hers vests, with Chalamet in a black leather Helmut Lang vest over a T-shirt and matching leather pants and Zendaya in a backless vest and trousers from Louis Vuitton.
Over the years, Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet have become close friends, even comparing their relationship to that of siblings, and that friendship definitely comes through in their fashion. Dune 2 is set to hit theaters on March 1, so prepare yourselves for even more major fashion to come from this ultra-stylish duo.
