White House Denies Rumors of Donald Trump Pardoning Diddy

Diddy Begs Judge For Leniency On Eve Of Sentencing

The White House has denied reports that former President Donald Trump is planning to pardon music mogul Diddy. According to a spokesperson, the claim made by TMZ is completely false. The official said the story was inaccurate and that only the President makes final decisions on pardons and commutations.

TMZ’s report suggested that Trump was considering freeing Diddy after pressure from his team. The report also claimed that Trump could make the decision as early as this week. TMZ has maintained that their report is accurate despite the White House’s denial.

Diddy was recently sentenced to 50 months in prison after being found guilty on two counts of transporting someone to engage in prostitution. He was also fined $500,000.

Earlier this year, before the conviction, Trump said he would “look at the facts” when asked if he would consider pardoning Diddy. In August, he later said he did not know Diddy well and described him as “very hostile” after Trump began his political career.
