The 33-year-old is widely regarded as one of the finest artistes of his generation and many musicians cite him as one of their biggest influence.
On Wednesday, Afro-pop sensation Wizkid cited Wande Coal as major influence in his career.
According to him, Coal’s critically acclaimed and commercially successful 2009 album, Mushin To Mo’Hits, forever changed his life.
“This album changed my life King Coal,” he stated on Instastories.
