Comedian Tiffany Haddish said President Joe Biden touched his forehead to hers in a greeting at the White House last month, enabling her to catch a whiff of his scent.
Sounds like the makings of a standup act right? Only this actually happened, and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel had the video proof. (Watch it below.)
Haddish, who had her bat mitzvah at age 40, was recalling her visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. on May 20 to celebrate Jewish Heritage Month. She riffed on how Biden always seemed like a robot to her. The description of their encounter got weirder and funnier.
“He started leaning in and I was like, ‘Uh oh, he’s failing, systems failing. Am I going to have to hold him up?’” she recalled. “I’m trying to smile and I’m like, ‘Is he dyin’?’”
His proximity also enabled her to catch a whiff of the commander in chief.
“He had a scent,” she said. “He actually smelled good. He smelled like Johnson & Johnson and success. So somebody changed him.”
Haddish, who stars in the hit action film “Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” joked that Biden’s forehead maneuver was the “the new white man’s way of figuring out if you got a wig on.”
