Those who said I chopped MUSIGA’s money are attention seekers – Obour reveals
Outgoing MUSIGA president, Obour has accused his critics of being attention seekers.
Obour has been bashed and criticized by both underground and mainstream artists for allegedly squandering money of the union.
Reacting to these rumours in an Interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central, he blamed these artistes for not making enquiries before talking and also called them attention seekers.
“People are not patient and don’t make enquiries before they talk. Some too do because they want attention. Sometimes they want the media to talk about them in order to be relevant. So everyone has his reason for saying that but we are not bothered because we are doing a good job”, he said.
When asked whether he is bothered with these accusations he said;
“When you get a position, you have to be patient about these things. Even Jesus Christ was bashed and criticized, I’m not better than Jesus for me to be bothered. So I just pay a deaf ear and ignore those things”.
