The New Heights podcast with brothers Jason and Travis Kelce has been going off on a comedy hot streak lately in terms of guests. Last week they had Jason Sudeikis on the show, who dropped some Ted Lasso news and was hilarious throughout. On the Wednesday’s episode, Ben Stiller was present as a guest and talked about all sorts of things during the show.

Travis Kelce on his guilty pleasure from his ‘heavyweight’ childhood
While Ben Stiller was present on the podcast, the conversations between him and Kelce brother’s led to discussion about the 1995 movie heavyweights. The film featured Ben Stiller as he plays a ruthless fitness fanatic who takes over a camp for overweight boys.
I was a heavyweight growing up, the younger Kelce said. Jason, he didn’t get fat until he went to office. We switched places growing up. So Jason is more newly founded into it.
As Stiller asked Travis if he had weight issues during his childhood, to which Jason smiled and said,
He was chubby I wouldn’t say he was fat.
To shed more light on the matter, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce opened up on his guilty pleasure during his childhood days.
I think I was dealing with my love for honey buns, Kelce said with a laugh. That’s what I was kinda dealing with more. I saw Heavyweights and was like, ‘Oh, man. If there’s a camp out there like that, I wanna go to it.’ Just kids that can be fat together and hide candy in their beds.
It is difficult to process that Travis Kelce, an NFL-All-Pro tight end and three-time Super Bowl champion, someone who dates global superstar Taylor Swift had a desire to attend a camp for overweight kids so they could ‘be fat together and hide candy in their beds’.
