Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is over and now it’s time for her and Travis Kelce to focus on the next stage of their relationship. While fans are eager for the duo to get engaged, the pop star and the NFL athlete might have real estate at the top of their list. They reportedly have a very specific place in mind and it’s a George Clooney favorite.
After enjoying a romantic vacation in Lake Como, Italy last summer during the European leg of her tour, Swift and Kelce are reportedly continuing their house hunt in the area. The U.S. Sun initially shared the news in May, but they doubled down on the report now that the 35-year-old Grammy nominee is taking some time off. Last spring, the talented couple looked at three properties that offered privacy and majestic views. Kelce “fell in love with the beauty and atmosphere,” according to the media outlet’s source.
The Italian estates would give the busy duo the best of both worlds. “They like to do simple things, to relax, to spend days being by themselves and chill at home, so that location would be a perfect nest for them if one of them decides to buy a property there,” the insider added. Kelce has an affinity for Italy and reportedly pulled out all the stops when he visited his girlfriend last July.
“He also booked tables and quick day trips to some food and wine tours, as he wants to take her to Italy’s rural side and spend time with her in the most gorgeous vineyards and beautiful countryside spots,” a second source told The U.S. Sun in December 2023. For now, though, the couple is enjoying time together during the holidays in Kansas City — and that means fans shouldn’t expect an engagement.
“Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because [that’s when] the little nuances about someone’s personality and habits come into play. They will learn so much about each other,” an Us Weekly insider shared in early December. “Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style. That’s just not how she does [things]. Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever.”
