Less than a year into their relationship, are the 34-year-olds ready to call it quits?
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are no different to the rest of us as they set some clear boundaries to keep their relationship secure and sound, but is it poised to breakdown sometime soon as the 34-year-olds approach their first anniversary?
The Kansas City Chiefs’ star has always liked to enjoy himself and has always been into clubbing and partying and whilst Swift will not stand in the way of that, she has laid down some no-go zones for her man, namely strip clubs.
He also shouldn’t interact with female fans either, although this is to protect Swift’s image in the media and their relationship rather than out of a sense of control or jealously by the 34-year-old popstar.
“(He) is fine not going to strip clubs anymore,” an insider told Life & Style. “But Taylor also doesn’t want him posing for photographs with female fans, mostly to avoid inaccurate headlines.
“He had to roll his eyes at that one.”
Restrictions on seeing each other
Whilst an additional rule is that they can’t spend more than 14 days apart from each other so they can retain their connection, which came into effect after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade and a tough few months managing their own career schedules.
“They have decided that they don’t want to be away from each other for more than two weeks at a time,” an insider told The Daily Mail.
The schedule conflict between the NFL and Swift’s Eras Tour meant Kelce was pretty grounded in the United States as Swift jumped around the globe, to and from him and her next destination, which was thought to be taking a toll and causing some conflict.
The two lovebirds, who began dating secretly in August 2023, appear to have some flexibility in this area though as they haven’t really seen each other for a month due to their respective calendar demands, which will be important when the football season kicks off again.
Kelce did say that, whilst he couldn’t be in Edinburgh, he knows his girlfriend will perform at Wembley in London in the United Kingdom a lot and so he will definitely make an effort to go and see her when he can.
“Oh, you know I gotta go support,” Kelce told Entertainment Tonight. I think she’s at Wembley eight times.”
