Eva Amurri, a lifestyle blogger and actor, posted a zoomed-in image of her bust after being told to “put away” her breasts.
Eva Amurri has some choice words for people “scandalized” by her wedding dress.
The lifestyle blogger and actor was all smiles in photos from her intimate ceremony Saturday in upstate New York, but also earned flak on social media for choosing a dress that showed her cleavage.
Now Amurri, whose mother Susan Sarandon attended the wedding, isn’t having it.
Amurri shared several images of her and her husband Ian Hock in a since-deleted Instagram story, dismissing “anyone scandalized by my breasts not being ‘put away,’” People reported.
She reportedly wrote in a follow-up post, which was firmly zoomed-in on her bust: “Feel free to screenshot this for later.”
Amurri told People that she “wanted to feel sexy but elegant” and chose the corseted gown for being “ultra feminine without being too puffy.”
The wedding, which hosted only 40 guests, included Amurri’s three young children from her prior marriage with former soccer player Kyle Martino: Marlow, 9; Major, 7; and Mateo, 4.
Amurri finalized her divorce with Martino in 2020 after nearly nine years of marriage. She first confirmed that she was dating Hock, a professional chef, on her “Happily Eva After” blog in early 2021 — and announced in February 2023 that he’d proposed to her in Paris.
While their wedding day was both impacted by rain and and social media trolling, Amurri still felt the wedding was magical.
“We wanted to write our own love letters to each other to read as vows, which was so special for us,” she told People. “We also didn’t have any bridal party besides the kids, and it was perfect. Major walked me down the aisle, which was an experience I’ll never forget.”
