“I am mortified right now by my people,” the actress said on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime.”
“The Sopranos” alum Drea de Matteo claims there are “a lot” of stars in Hollywood who are secret supporters of Donald Trump.
While appearing on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Tuesday, the actor accused her peers of not being vocal about their support for Trump out of fear of being condemned.
The star’s comments came after Watters began the interview by sharing videos of President Joe Biden’s star-studded Hollywood fundraiser earlier this month and a clip of Robert De Niro slamming Donald Trump.
“That was a hard intro to watch. I’m sorry,” de Matteo said during the episode. “It’s the Italian, man. We’re talking about [Anthony] Fauci, we’re talking about De Niro. I am mortified right now by my people. I don’t understand what we’re doin’ here.”
After Watters asked if she believed there was “a quiet Trump voter out there in Hollywood,” de Matteo replied, “I think there is a lot of them.”
She continued, “There are a lot of quiet Trump supporters. I wonder how much these actors got paid to endorse Biden at this point. I am curious.”
The “Sons of Anarchy” actor went on to say that “they’re going to take me out into the woods and shoot me for not endorsing Biden.” The reference is a nod to the murder of her “Sopranos” character, Adriana La Cerva, in Season 5 after she was outed as an FBI informant.

@jessebwatters Hollywood is a lot like the mob with money, drugs, women, and powerful people operating behind the scenes. But the most important thing in both worlds is loyalty, but is it loyalty towards the Don or loyalty towards the Dems?
