Sarkodie allegedly removed Strongman’s verse on ‘Odo’ song and replaced it with that of Ebony (+video evidence
Barely a week ago, Sarkodie released his much-anticipated 6-track tape dubbed, “Alpha”. The tape has been performing very well digitally since its release.
One of the tracks off the tape is “Odo” which features the late Ebony Reigns. The lyrical content of the song discusses commitment and loyalty as basic elements of every successful relationship.
Over a year before the release of Alpha, Sarkodie performed Odo at a memorial concert that was held on the eve of the late songstress’ burial service in Accra.
Sometime ago, a video released online captured Sarkodie performing Odo, coupled with rapper Strongman delivering some enthralling bars on the song. The performance was backed vocally by Akwaboah.
In a post on Instagram by vlogger Archipalago, he has asked why Strongman Burner did not make an appearance on the version of “Odo” on the “Alpha” tape.
In the voice of Archipalago, the original version of the song featured Strongman but Sarkodie later decided to take Strongman off the song and replace him with Ebony for reasons best known to him.
