Rob49 Resurfaces With Injuries Following Fan Concern Over French Montana Shooting

Rob49 has reemerged a month after he disappeared following a shooting on the set of a French Montana music video.

On Tuesday (February 7), Rob49 resurfaced on his Instagram with a set of clips showing him with his right arm in a sling and a bandage on his shoulder while hanging out with some friends.

In one of the videos, Rob smoked a blunt while rocking out to one of his songs. Another video showed him hanging out with some kids while they cheered him on in front of the camera.

“U JUMPIN INAT WATER NIGHA U JUST LIKE ME. BIGGEST VULTURE,” he captioned the post.

The latter post came five days after he returned to social media with the announcement of a new song titled “4GOD II” which came alongside a music video. In the caption, Rob thanked everyone that wished him well following the shooting.

“Thank You To Everybody Who Been Keeping Me In Dey Prayers, I Want Let Yall Kno I Been Doing Way Better & Thank God For Reminding Me Tah Live Everyday Like It’s My Last! What That Being Said Let’s FLOOD And Take OVA!! BIGGEST VULTURE,” he wrote.

Rob49 was among the 10 people injured on the set of French Montana‘s music video early last month in Miami, Florida. According to 7 News Miami, the shooting took place outside The Licking restaurant in Miami Gardens, where the two rappers were filming the video.

Miami Gardens Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded to reports of a shooting just before 8 p.m. on January 5 and found multiple victims. Four victims were airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center, with one of them listed in critical condition. Other victims transported themselves to the hospital.

Rob’s condition was unknown and fans grew worried as the rapper hadn’t been active on social media since reports got out regarding the shooting.

Cellphone footage showed Montana and Rob49 filming the video in the back of a car outside the restaurant before the shooting. The two rappers collaborated on the track “Igloo,” taken from French’s Coke Boys 6: Money Heist Edition project, which dropped on January 6.

French issued a heartfelt statement offering “thoughts and prayers” to the victims following the shooting.

“Last night, I was in Miami celebrating the release of my CB6 mixtape w/ friends at a local restaurant,” he wrote on Twitter. “We unfortunately were at the wrong place, at the wrong time when an incident took place that left people hurt. Our thoughts & prayers are w/ the victims & families at this time.”
