Rihanna made her debut on Forbes‘ annual billionaires list, with an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion.
Forbes‘ Madeline Berg pointed out that Rihanna’s wealth is largely due to her company Fenty Beauty, which is the fastest-growing cosmetics line in the world. The beauty company brought in $550 million in revenue in 2020. Rihanna also has a 30% stake in her Savage x Fenty lingerie company, which raised approximately $115 million in series B funding at a $1 billion valuation in early 2021.
Rihanna was ranked at number 1,729 in the list of the world’s billionaires, and she was topped by Kanye, who came in at No. 1,513 with an estimated $2 billion, and Jay-Z, who was listed at No. 2,076, $1.4 billion. Elon Musk topped the list with an estimated 219 billion, followed by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos with $171 billion. Other celebrities on the list include Kim Kardashian (No. 1,645, $1.8 billion); Tyler Perry (No. 2,578, $1 billion); Steven Spielberg (No. 801, $3.7 billion); and Oprah Winfrey (No. 1,196, $2.6 billion).
