It also charted in multiple European countries such as, Belgium, reaching No. 1 on the Belgian Ultratop 50, Dutch Top 40, and Dutch Single Top 100. In the United Kingdom, the song peaked at No. 3 and spent 27 non-consecutive weeks in the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart.
Widely regarded as the biggest and most successful Afrobeats song of all time, a remix of the hit song with American singer, Selena Gomez, was released on August 25, 2022. It reached No. 1 on both the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs and the Billboard Global Excl. US charts, and peaked at No. 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100, making Rema’s first top 10 hit and Gomez’s ninth.
