Mavin Record’s signee Rema has set the record as the first Nigerian artiste to debut five hit songs on Apple Music.
The “Dumebi” hitmaker also set records on the Trap charts with songs off his new ‘Rema’ EP.
The songs are ‘Boulevard’, ‘American Love’, ‘Spiderman’, ‘Trap out the Submarine’ and ‘Dumebi’.
A clearly excited Rema posted the news on both his Twitter and Instagram pages.
On Twitter, he wrote:
“1 kid. Number 1&2 album on @applemusic. 5 songs on the top 100 chart. Number 2, 3, 7, 8 and 9 including 4 trap songs.
“This has never happened in the history of the Nigerian music industry. Check the statistics, no cap.”
