Quiz: Kendrick Lamar and Drake latest diss tracks go to the next level. How much do you know about the two rappers’ history?

From “The Heart Part 6” to “Not Like Us” and everything in between

Rappers Drake and Kendrick Lamar show no signs of slowing down their feud, with each releasing several new diss verses and tracks over the past few weeks, stoking the flames of a heated rivalry.

The dispute apparently reignited after Drake’s October 2023 song, “First Person Shooter.” Lamar allegedly took offense to being placed in the same tier of rappers (the “big three” in verse) as Drake and J.Cole.

Lamar hit back in March 2024, adding verses to the song “Like That,” which he collaborated on with rappers Future and Metro Boomin, rapping “It’s just big me.” Drake soon followed up with two songs, “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle,” in April 2024.

The back-and-forth has kept fans of both artists on the edge of their seats as streams for each new song soar. Both “Like That” and “Push Ups” sit in the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, with Lamar’s “Like That” peaking at No. 1.

“The past couple of weeks have been the most exciting time in hip-hop we’ve had in a long time,” music journalist and author Sowmya Krishnamurthy told the Washington Post.

The beef kicked into high gear over the weekend, with each artist releasing three songs. Lamar debuted “6:16 in L.A” on Friday, followed by “Meet the Grahams” and then “Not Like Us.” Drake released “Family Matters,” a parody of “Buried Alive Interlude” — which is a 2011 collaboration between him and Lamar — and “The Heart Part 6.”
