Peso Pluma, the Mexican singer-rapper making waves in recent times, has enlisted the talents of none other than the most-dynamic Cardi B on their latest release, ‘PUT EM IN THE FRIDGE.’
The duo, stunningly, take the beat by storm, and glide over it bilingually, switching seamlessly between English and Spanish. Cardi is exploring her Afro-Latino roots further with this one as an artist, and we are here for it!

The track comes off Pluma’s latest full length release, Éxodo, which is an interesting listen to say the least. Disc 1 of the album features Pluma more in the singing zone, with vibrant yet relaxed music that is true to the artist’s Mexican roots. Disc 2, however, takes the listener on a completely different tangent, culminating Pluma’s sound of his cultural heritage with that of trap music, boasting features with Cardi B, Quavo, Rich The Kid and DJ Snake!
The trap drums go crazy on the ‘PUT EM IN THE FRIDGE,’ which is a track that borrows heavily from fast paced trap music, but is balanced in its approach with plucky string instrumentation. Subtle horns litter the sonic space, too, adding a funky depth to the track’s bounce. Vocally, the artists deliver their verses in a blend of aggressive yet laidback undertones, making for an exciting pump-up or party listen.
