Nicki Minaj’s relationship with Kenny Petty has made headlines for all the wrong reasons. At first, she kept her relationship a secret, referring to her beau as “new boy” on Queen Radio and keeping his identity a mystery. When he finally appeared on her social media pages, Petty was quickly identified as a criminal, having spent time in prison for murder and rape. His most recent charge happened at the end of last year when he was pulled over by cops for driving without a valid license. It was reported that he would be heading to court for the charges and during a recent visit to see the judge, he pleaded guilty to the case.

As reported by TMZ, Kenneth Petty pleaded guilty to aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. The offense occurred when Petty was pulled over on September 13 after going through a stop sign. Obviously, this violation is less serious than his past crimes but there will still be consequences to pay. Petty is ordered to clear his license and pay $88 in fines. That’s steep…

For months, Kenny and Nicki have been gushing about their love on social media. Nicki referred to Petty as her “husband” during the latest episode of her radio show, prompting some to believe that they had gone and secretly tied the knot. Regardless of the formalities, they are clearly into each other.
