Nick Cannon may set a certain standard for a woman to carry his child, but Taylor Swift fans don’t see being named as his potential baby mama as a compliment. In fact, Swifties were disgusted and called it a “threat” after the multi-talented star spoke of his desire of having his 13th child with the singer/songwriter.
The 42-year-old father of 12 stopped by “The Howard Stern Show” on Monday, April 10 when he admitted he has no immediate plans to add another baby to his large brood. “I’m happy currently with my dozen that I’ve got,” he told the shock jock.
However, when Howard proposed the hypothetical situation in which he could have any woman he wants, naming Taylor as one of them, as the mother of his child, Nick quickly changed his mind. “Absolutely, I’m all in, let’s go. That’s the one!” he quipped. “First of all, she’s an amazing songwriter. What I do love about Taylor Swift is that she has been so vulnerable and open with all of her music.”
“The Masked Singer” host believes that he and the newly-single pop superstar will be compatible for each other because they have “very similar” dating experiences when it comes to having their love lives make headlines. “Me and Taylor’s numbers is very similar when we’re talking about being in these streets, so I think she would relate to me very well,” he explained. “We probably will understand each other.”
As for the news that Taylor has called it quits with her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn, Nick joked, “You know I know that, Howard, you know my Spidey-senses was tingling!” The rapper/comedian added of the idea of having a baby with the Grammy Award winner, “That would be amazing.”

Unlike Nick who was excited when presented with the idea, fans disagreed. “This should be illegal,” one person reacted to the interview, while a fan of Taylor told the former “America’s Got Talent” host, “Please don’t drag Taylor Swift into your foolishness sir.”
“Pls stay away for [sic] Taylor sir,” someone warned Nick, as another added, “Nah leave Tay Tay alone.” Not pleased with Nick’s comment, one person stated, “someone needs to lock him up,” while another fan spoke on behalf of the 33-year-old singer, “Taylor don’t want it.”
Quoting the lyrics of Taylor’s song “I Knew You Were Trouble”, someone said of Nick, “I knew you were trouble when you walked in.” Another advised the “Anti-Hero” hitmaker, “If I was Taylor I would take this as a threat run Taylor !!”
Slamming Nick over his comment, one other penned, “Eww there’s nothing more repulsive than a man discussing procreation with a woman they aren’t even acquainted with. As if he can have any woman he wants at his will.”
Nick already has twelve children with six different women, including 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan whom he shares with ex-wife Mariah Carey. Meanwhile, Taylor has reportedly broken up with British actor Joe after dating for six years.
