Legendary Ghanaian gospel musician, Yaw Sarpong has disclosed that his biggest breakthrough in his over 43 years music career is getting award-winning rapper Sarkodie on a song.
Yaw Sarpong’s comment comes after he featured Sarkodie on his latest song titled ‘Ahobrase?’ which was released today March 2, 2020.
In an interview on Hitz FM and monitored by YEN.com.gh, Yaw Sarpong said he was extremely satisfied with Sarkodie’s efforts on the ‘Ahobrase?’ hit song.
He stated that although he has been in the music industry for long, his greatest dream was to feature Sarkodie on a song.
Sarkodie also urged everyone to be reminded of death and not live as though they are immortal.
Sarkodie also stated that man must not rely on riches and despise men because when all is said and done, one will need men to even dig his or her grave.
The song which talks about humility, tells a story of how people should try to live a simple life when God grants them riches.
He narrated a sad story of how he almost lost his life and how he realized that life is very precious and must be lived in the simplest and most respectable way possible.
Yaw Sarpong is one of the top gospel musicians in Ghana who has been consistent over the years. He is also a prolific songwriter and performer with several awards to his name.
Yaw Sarpong had in earlier reports hinted of his upcoming album titled ‘Ever Green’ which will feature some seasoned musicians like Samini, Kofi Arthur, Sonny Badu, Obaapa Christy, Obrafour and Joe Mettle among others.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a small boy had been sighted in a viral video pushing his way through everybody who tried to stop him from picking up money sprayed on him when he perfectly recited a Bible quotation in Church.
In the video, the boy who gave his name as Nathaniel Ofosu Gyamfi was seen reciting a bible quotation beautifully after which members of the church decided to spray money on him.
