Moneybagg Yo has reacted to his girlfriend Ari Fletcher’s plans to start an OnlyFans and seems to be very supportive of the idea — just as long as people run up his album.
The Memphis rapper’s response comes after Fletcher announced she would start an OnlyFans if her beau’s forthcoming mixtape goes No. 1 on the charts.
Sitting down with Power 106, Moneybagg said he wasn’t in a position to tell Fletcher what to do, and that his fans better support his project if they wanna see her on OnlyFans.
“Y’all better run it up,” Bagg said. “Y’all better run it on up, man. You wanna see this OnlyFans, man? Run it up…She already locked and loaded man. I believe it. I know what’s up man.”
When asked if he knew about the tweet, Bagg admitted that Fletcher simply told him to “go look” online.
“When Bagg drop his mixtape and go #1 I’m making my onlyfans,” Fletcher tweeted on Tuesday (May 23). “I already got my first video ready… somebody tell him to hurry up!”
Ari’s tweet is in reference to Moneybagg’s upcoming project, Hard to Love, which is set to drop on Friday (May 26) via CMG/N-Less/Interscope Records.
The project serves as a follow-up to his 2021 album, A Gangsta’s Pain. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, spawning chart-topping singles like “Said Sum” and “Wockesha.”
In an Instagram post earlier this month, the rapper explained his absence to his fans.
“Yooo, I know it’s been a minute. I miss y’all as much as y’all miss me,” he said. “A lot has happened in 2 years. I gained and lost more than I ever thought I would and had no other safe outlet for all the emotions and dark thoughts that came wit that other than making music.
“I’m blessed to have an art form to express myself inside and out with you all. Demario is the one that all the shit happened to but nobody understood that I gotta wake up and be Bagg every day to provide for my family and continue to carve my legacy but it’s not easy balancing the two.
“Not to mention while I was wrapping up the album I was hit with a tragedy that would affect my kids and me forever. Stack that on top of losing Nuski my right hand man to the streets and then my left hand man A to the Feds. It was loss after loss in my eyes while the rest of the world was still moving on.”
While the full tracklist has yet to be announced, Hard 2 Love was spearheaded by the GloRilla collab “On Wat U On” and December’s “Quickie.”
