Gorga spoke of her sister-in-law and fellow ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ castmate’s behavior during the current season of the reality series
Melissa Gorga isn’t mincing words about castmates Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin during the current season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
“I just think there’s so much grossness out there with social media, and what it looks like my sister-in-law and Jen [have] done is pretty embarrassing for them and pretty gross,” Gorga told Page Six on Wednesday, May 8, at the Food Bank for New York City’s Gotham Ball.
The TV personality, 45, added that she is “just embarrassed for them at this point,” but she didn’t clarify for the outlet what she was referring to.
While Gorga didn’t share further details, during the season 14 premiere that aired Sunday, May 5, Giudice, 51, and Aydin, 47, shared social media rumors about their castmates during the episode.
Giudice told Aydin rumors about their costar Rachel Fuda’s husband, John Fuda, being a “drug dealer” and liking “kinky s—” on the way to a surprise birthday party for costar Jennifer Fessler. Her surprise party was attended by all cast members and their significant others — except Giudice’s husband, Luis Ruelas.
Once the entire group was at the party, Giudice argued with both Rachel and John, shouting to the crowded room that she heard from John’s ex-wife and social media that he was the “biggest drug dealer in Bergen County.”
While the season has just begun and it isn’t clear what Gorga is referring to when she spoke about Aydin’s and her sister-in-law’s “embarrassing” behavior, teasers of the season show that the family members do not interact with each other the entire season.
This follows the two’s epic fallout after season 13, which concluded with Giudice telling Gorga at the reunion, “I can’t wait to never f—ing look at your face again after today.”
Gorga exclusively shared with PEOPLE on Sunday that their relationship was over after that reunion.
Gorga explained that she wasn’t bothered by Giudice’s comments. “I was unfazed because the harder someone goes and barks orders, the more you’re just like, ‘Okay, sit down,’ ” she said. “And you know what? It’s been so many years and I’m just like, anything that they say or do at this point, I just giggle at. I’m like, ‘Okay…'”
“There’s just no need. I don’t need to comment on it,” Gorga told PEOPLE of her decision not to talk about her sister-in-law in the season 14 confessionals. “I don’t need to talk about it. … It’s something I just, I don’t want to say don’t care about, but I just don’t anymore,” adding, “Keep it moving and let’s talk about something else.”
