Yaw Tog, who has become the ‘poster boy’ of ‘Asakaa’ Kumasi drill music, has made it so far in Ghana’s music industry with the unflinching support of his hardworking management team headed by Mr. Henry ‘Crossy Boakye’, a well-known media personality in Kumasi.
Henry Boakye, who has a rich experience with live band music in Kumasi, has contributed in diverse ways in shaping Yaw Tog’s promising career into what it is now.
Mr Boakye, together with the rest of the management team, has been highly extoled all over Ghana for successfully organizing and hosting UK hip-hop superstar, Stormzy and his team in Kumasi for ‘Sore’ remix music video shoot.
Although Yaw Tog has become a household name in the country’s music scene, Henry in an interview with celebrity blogger, Eben Owurachy admitted that the young drill rapper just began his career and there is more room for improvement.
Henry Boakye believes the 2021 VGMA Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year winner is going places not only because of his exceptional talent and the management’s hard work but also due to God’s divine grace and favour.
Mr Boakye also revealed that currently, Yaw Tog works under his own imprint named Toglife Music, where he runs his projects independently with support from a dedicated international label.
The well-built manager is grateful to Ghanaians for supporting Yaw Tog’s music and is fully prepared to push the BET Amplified International Artiste’s music career to greater heights.
Aside Henry Boakye, the rest of Yaw Tog’s management includes Ms. Joyce Mensah, Albert Osei Bonsu, Stephaney Gyimah, George Opoku Boateng (Koopoku Studios), Stephen Mensah Frimpong (Khendibeatz), Nana Osei-Kesse and Simms Frimpong.
