It was Lil Nas X’s first ever performance.
Diplo had a set at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival on Friday night and he invited Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X up on stage as his guests, according to hiphop-n more. That’s when the three debuted the new remix for the crowd. This was not only Lil Nas X’s first performance with Cyrus, but his first performance period. The young artist has mostly been in the studio working on his new album and with his newfound success, more performances will certainly be on the way.

The latest remix is different as Diplo completely changes the beat, stripping it of the banjo and 808s that made it so popular. Instead, the beat is a lot more atmospheric and features some pretty interesting sound choices.
