Kodak Black Served With Lawsuit While Behind Bars
A concert promoter says that the rapper owes him money.
However, not everyone is disappointed that Kodak is locked up. A concert promoter used the opportunity to serve the rapper with legal papers regarding a lawsuit that he filed against Kodak last month. According to The Blast, a man named Nicholas Fitts has accused the Florida rapper of not fulfilling his end of a contractual agreement. Fitts states that Kodak was scheduled to perform in New York on March 3, 2017, but pulled a no-show. They agreed that he would make up the show by performing a month later in April, but once again Kodak was nowhere to be found.
After failing to deliver twice, the promoter claims that they settled on a third date but that didn’t happen, either. Fitts is seeking an excess of $500,000 in damages.
