Joyner Lucas drops a new exclusive music with video, Devil’s Work.
Joyner Lucas is fresh off a Grammy nomination for his contentious 2017 video, “I’m Not Racist” but the nod comes ahead of his forthcoming album, ADHD. Although he’s been engulfed in a few controversies this past year, namely with Tory Lanez and his compassionate take on R. Kelly, he’s also been proving himself to be one of the most skillful penmen in the rap game. It’s been a minute since he dropped a solo track but today, he drops off his new single, “Devil’s Work.”
Joyner Lucas is back with a powerful new cut. “Devil’s Work” arrived earlier today, accompanied with a visual that finds the rapper drinking Hennessy in church, pleading with God. The rapper pays homage to those who have passed, such as ‘Pac, Nipsey Hussle, XXXTENTACION, and more, while questioning why people who’ve capitalized off of doing wrong, such as Trump, George Zimmerman, Laura Ingraham, and Tomi Lahren, continue to live.
