When a crowd of bearded hopefuls gathered to compete in a Jason Kelce lookalike contest, fans crowned one competitor the winner—but Kelce himself had a different opinion.
Shortly after the contest, which was held in Philadelphia on Saturday, Dec. 14, Jason changed his X profile picture to a photo of one of the participants—except it wasn’t the man who actually ended up winning (though he did make the top three).
A man named Paul Crossley was the official victor, according to Us Weekly, going on to boast about his triumph in a clip on social media from the Philadelphia sports blog Crossing Board.
“I’m Jason Kelce,” Crossley said in the video, wearing a hoodie and green baseball cap.

Fans were impressed with how much some of the contestants resembled Jason.
“A couple of times I was like ‘it’s nice Jason showed up… oh wait,'” wrote one commenter.
“Number 1 finalist should’ve won,” argued a second person, agreeing with Jason’s choice.
“A bunch of dads with beards,” joked someone else.
On a recent episode of his and brother Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast, Jason addressed a viral tweet claiming that he looks like Rudolph’s Sam the Snowman.
“I’ve always gotten I look like Yukon Cornelius. That’s the one that everyone’s always [says],” he said. “And it’s from the exact same movie so I was shocked when this picked up so much steam because I’ve always gotten that one.”
Travis agreed that their dad, Ed Kelce, looks more like Sam the Snowman.
