Jamie Foxx is at a top-notch rehab facility that specializes in stroke recovery after his undisclosed medical emergency

Jamie Foxx has been getting the best medical attention from doctors and nurses at a Chicago medical rehab facility to tend to his physical recovery after he was released from the hospital from his reported ‘medical emergency’.

Sources that spoke to TMZ claim that Foxx has been getting medical attention in Chicago since April and has both his daughters Corine and Anelise Foxx with him for support sharing their good spirits with their famous dad.

Although the family has not been clear on what the reported medical emergency was, according to page six, the facility specializes in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and cancer rehabilitation.

Someone close to the family claims that Foxx is recovering well, furthermore, his daughter Coreen who has been more informative seconds that claim.

Corinne Foxx and the controversy with the media

While many news outlets ran the story of the medical emergency, there were others that were informed differently and published stories that lacked clarity, this eventually caught the eye of Corinne Foxx and went to set the record straight.

Foxx’s daughter quipped “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild, My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating.”

Media outlets issued public apology to the Foxx family

Both Daily Loud and Radar Online published the story that the Foxx family was reportedly “preparing for the worst” and that the actor was “on Life Support in [the] ICU.”

Both celebrity news outlets had to apologize to the family and readers by issuing a statement via Twitter. The post read “We would like to apologize for the misinformation regarding Jamie Foxx’s condition we unfortunately thought the source we had was real but it was not,”

They elaborated “We are sorry to Jamie and his family for our actions here and continue to wish him nothing but good health. Sorry for letting our followers down as well. We will do better in the future and will make sure every source is properly fact-checked from here on.”
