ICE SPICE REACTS TO KANYE WEST’S DAUGHTER NORTH’S DRAWING OF HER: ‘SHE’S SO TALENTED’

Ice Spice has shared her reaction to Kanye West’s daughter North West drawing her portrait, and she likes what she saw.

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with the “Munch” rapper in Brooklyn on Monday (February 13), and she said she was flattered by the 9-year-old’s drawing of her, which she debuted on TikTok earlier this week.

When asked if she saw the portrait, Spice replied: “I did. It was so cute. Thank you, North. She’s so talented.”

The daughter of Ye and Kim Kardashian shared her drawing in a video posted to the joint account she shares with her mother called @kimandnorth. The clip was fittingly soundtracked by Ice Spice’s “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” collaboration with Pinkpantheress.

Ice Spice had an eventful first time at New York Fashion Week earlier this week. The Bronx native stopped by Dion Lee’s fashion show in downtown Manhattan and sat next to Kanye West’s ex Julia Fox and her friend Richie Shazam.

Spice later performed at The Bowery Showroom’s fashion week after party in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, but was abruptly rushed off the stage after someone allegedly grabbed her.

Ice Spice also confirmed to TMZ that new music is in the works. She previously dropped her debut EP Like..? in January, and the track “Gangsta Boo” featuring Lil Tjay earned the 23-year-old her first Billboard placement, debuting at No. 84 on the Hot 100.

Adding to her surging career, Ice was also recently named a 2023 HipHopDX Rising Star alongside the likes of GloRilla, Lola Brooke, redveil, Reuben Vincent, JELEEL! and Destroy Lonely.

However, not everyone was immediately on board with Ice Spice’s music. Chance The Rapper seemed to think he was being dissed on her track “In Ha Mood,” and asked the Bronx rapper directly on IG if it was a shout-out or an insult.

“Is this a diss or a shoutout,” the Chicago native asked on his Instagram Story while tagging Ice Spice last month. “Never,” she responded with a crying emoji in an IG Story of her own, to which Chano wrote back: “Just double checking lol.”
