I make money because I am loud – Rosemond Brown

Spread the love

You may not like actress Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Polo for her utterances and behaviour but that does not bother the young woman who says she is making a lot of money for being loud.

Taking her turn on Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu’s Aggresive Show last weekend, Rosemond said being obnoxious and doing outrageous things is giving her a lot of followers and bringing her money, especially from musicians who pay her to promote their songs or latest works on her social media pages.

“Ghanaians want someone who is controversial and has a lot of followers. If you are not loud no one wants to do business with you because there is no news around you. That is the sad truth anyways.

“What they don’t know is that I make a lot of money from the videos I post on social media. The likes of Medikal, Wisa and other musicians have paid me good sums of money to do videos for them.

“Whenever I go semi-nude in my car doing videos it’s not for the fun of it but I make good money there,” she told Kwaku Manu.

Rosemond pleaded with Ghanaians to slow down on the insults because everything she does on social media is planned.

“Some Ghanaians have all sorts of thoughts about me but I am a cool person when you get close to me. Apart from acting, I dance in music videos which pays pretty well,” she said.

Rosemond Brown thanked the celebrities who call her to advise her. “I am human and if I step on any toe I plead that I am forgiven. I might have wronged a lot of people through my videos but I use this opportunity to plead with them,” she said.
