Cristiano Ronaldo scored a header to open the score in Portugal’s 2-0 victory over Uruguay at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Well, that’s what it looked like, at least, until FIFA awarded Bruno Fernandes with the goal, claiming Ronaldo never touched the ball.
Cristiano celebrated the goal by jumping in the air while shouting, “Sim,” seemingly tying Eusebio with nine World Cup goals.
CR7 was subbed off in minute 82 and received the news that FIFA had given the goal to his former Manchester United teammate.
Ronaldo made a face of disappointment before shaking it off and cheering on his team.

Portugal face South Korea on Friday and it’s unlikely that head coach Fernando Santos will bench any of his starters.
Expect CR7 to score a couple of goals on a South Korea squad coming off a 2-3 loss to Ghana.
