Gwyneth Paltrow’s Crimson Plunging Top and Skirt Set Is the Opposite of Quiet Luxury
When you think of stealth wealth style, Gwyneth Paltrow is likely a name that comes to mind, as her courtroom wardrobe during her ski crash trial last spring basically put the trend on the map. But even quiet luxury’s queen can’t resist the allure of a red-hot outfit.
On Thursday, Paltrow attended the premiere of her husband Brad Falchuk’s new Netflix series The Brothers Sun in Los Angeles, and for the occasion, she wore a long-sleeved crimson red top with a deep plunging neckline and a matching wool crepe maxi skirt, both from Cong Tri’s spring-summer 2024 collection. She kept the monochromatic theme going with a skinny red belt around her waist and a pair of scarlet pointed-toe Paris Texas heels.
As a finishing touch, Gwyneth added a pair of giant gold chandelier earrings to her look, while her signature blonde hair was worn down and straight with a center part. Shimmery lids, pink lips, and flushed cheeks rounded out her glam.
This isn’t the first time Gwyneth has reached in her closet for an all-red outfit. Just last month, the Oscar-winner showed up to the 2023 Fashion Awards in a vintage Valentino haute couture set that consisted of a strapless red gown with a keyhole cutout and a floor-skimming duster that was fuzzy, sheer, and covered in beads. Before that? She rewore her iconic red velvet Gucci suit, 25 years after first debuting it at the 1996 MTV Video Music Awards.
