Ghanaians should appreciate my efforts for the country – Bisa Kdei
Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah mostly recognised in showbiz circles as Bisa Kdei has directed Ghanaians to focus more of their attention on his foreign exploits in the name of Ghana instead of bad mouthing him.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, the solo singer stated that although he has received a lot of negativity in his career, he does not pay much attention to it especially because most of the things circulating out there are either one-sided or untrue.
“People are going to say whatever they want to because it’s their opinion. Everybody is allowed to say something but it doesn’t mean that’s how the thing is. It doesn’t bother me at all. Trust me.” Bisa added.
He is, however, seeking that people stop throwing shades and recognise his efforts in promoting the country’s name across foreign lands in order for him to continue what he has already started and is still currently pursuing.
“As I said earlier, in the beginning, I have released songs but people are expecting too much from me. People release songs and put a lot of money in it but it doesn’t go anywhere.”
“And I am trying so hard to put Ghana on the map. I have been to so many places raising the flag of Ghana high. So I think people should see that side too. And realise that Bisa Kdei is also working trying so hard to put Ghana on the map.
“So all I need is the support and not things that will discourage me to stop,” he added
Speaking on if he would ever consider engaging someone in a musical beef so as to revive and boost his career which is suffering a little blow in the country, the singer vehemently answered in the negative by saying that it is neither in his nature as a musician or the type of the genre of song he does.
“High life is very sweet and calm. I can’t just go and beef somebody to create hype, no. I can’t do that, I just have to let it flow because that is how highlife is.”
“And the fact that you allow certain things to flow doesn’t mean that you are not working. You are working but if it comes fine. That’s how highlife is. So I just leave it be.” Bisa Kdei revealed.
