Ghanaian highly respectable rapper and Afrobeat singer based in the USA, Novalis has stated via his Instagram handle that Ghanaian artistes can win Grammys.
Novalis explained that to make such a dream come through, such musicians need to be supported by their country and not pulled down.
Novalis wrote:
“Ghanaian Artistes Can Win Grammys, They Are Only Left With Support From Their Country.”
In December 2015, Rocky Dawuni’s sixth studio album titled Branches of The Same Tree got nominated for a Grammy Award under the Best Reggae Album category.
Since then, he has remained the only artist from Ghana to have achieved such a clear Grammys nomination with his own work.
Many fans of Novalis publicly declared their support for him and also encouraged him to bag the award for Ghana.
