Ghanaian actor John Dumelo wins NDC parliamentary primaries

Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has been elected the parliamentary candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

John, who successfully passed the vetting on Friday, July 26 has been given the mandate to contest for the parliamentary seat of Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency in Ghana’s national elections in December 2020.

The NDC parliamentary primaries took place on Saturday 24th August and information reaching JiveNaija.com indicates that the actor floored his opponent to win the primaries.

At the end of the polls, John Dumelo got 758 votes while his only contender, Madam Adoboe managed to get 99 votes.
