The first official trailer for Netflix’s Receiver series is here!

From the team behind the streaming giant’s popular Quarterback docuseries, Receiver follows five of the NFL’s top pass catchers as they compete in the 2023-24 season.

The five players featured include George Kittle and Deebo Samuel of the San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings’ Justin Jefferson, Las Vegas Raider Davante Adams and Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions.

In the first trailer for the eight-episode series, Kittle, 30, tells the camera, “I do catch passes, I do score touchdowns, I get to do everything,” during an interview.

As the screen cuts to a clip of Kittle taking a hard hit during a game, he says, “It’s fun,” with a smile, before adding, “But I don’t know if you guys would like it as much as I do.”

Receiver will follow the players as they navigate the hardships of life in the NFL, from injuries to disappointing losses and even their personal lives.

“My wife recharges me,” Kittle says in the trailer of his wife, Claire.

Adams, 31, says, “I’m the most competitive person on planet earth. But I can go be a superhero on the field and then I can come home and be a superhero with my babies,” during an interview segement.

Samuel is seen in the trailer with his son Tyshun and girlfriend Mahogany Jones.

“As a kid, you just dream about the Super Bowl, but what is it going to take to really win one,” he ponders as clips of the 49er show him working out in the gym.
