French Montana is gearing up to drop Mac & Cheese 5 later this week, and it looks like fans are in for some great collabs. The final installment of the series is due in on January 5, complete with verses from Lil Durk, Drake, Offset, Kodak Black, and more. He even managed to get Kanye West and Westside Gunn on the same song, “Where They At.”
Westside Gunn took to Twitter today to express his excitement, sharing the star-studded tracklist with followers. “New FRENCH MONTANA X WSG X KANYE WEST dropping tomorrow night !!!!!!!” he wrote. “Let’s kick the year off RIGHT #SUPERFLYGOD#Culture#ART.” Based on his comments section, fans, like the Griselda co-founder, can’t wait.

As the project’s release date approaches, French Montana unveiled its cover art, which is a callback to his Moroccan roots. On the cover, he’s seen with the flag’s pentagram painted on his face, illuminated by red and green lights. He’s not the only one of the trio dropping new music either. Ye has also been hard at work with Ty Dolla Sign on their upcoming joint album, Vultures. The project has already seen various delays, however, and as of today no longer has a release date. It’s unclear exactly what the hold-up is, but according to his frequent collaborator Malik Yusef, he’s “redoing verses or making new ones.”
As for Westside Gunn, he just recently teamed up with The Alchemist and Conway the Machine to unveil their follow-up to Hall & Nash. Initially scrapped, the original version of Hall & Nash 2 was released exclusively on physical formats. The trio promises a new version of the mixtape later this year.
