Fan labels Ali Baba ‘Yahoo man’ over N1m ticket, gets reply from AY
A fan who was puzzled over why a table at comedian Ali Baba’s show was selling at one million Naira, expressed her disgust on social media, tagging the legend as a ‘yahoo man’.
She had argued that people were cash strapped following the poor state of the economy hence it was ridiculous for anyone to peg prices for tickets at N1m.
Mentioning comedian AY in her post, she said: “AY, please advise Ali Baba your boss. We all know the system in Nigeria. No regular business or worker can afford to buy a table for comedians show for 1m and above if that person is not into shady business or the other. The Ali Baba himself is a yahoo man for selling tables for his show in 000000 digits.
But her description was below the belt, according to colleague AY as he slammed the lady.
He said: Just mind your own business. Do not complain on behalf of people who can afford it. Allow me sell my product the way I want to sell it. Waka pass if you cannot afford it.”
