Many folks on social media wondered if the rapper, with whom Drake has a high-profile feud, caused the flood.
Singer Drake made a big splash on Instagram on Tuesday, but probably wishes he hadn’t.
Drake’s hometown of Toronto is currently dealing with floods and power outages from torrential rain, and the rapper is having his own weather-related troubles, which he posted about in an Instagram story.
The brief video shows dirty, yellowish water flowing through an upscale home with the caption reading, “This better be Espresso Martini.”
HuffPost editor Phil Lewis managed to save it for posterity on X, formerly Twitter.
Severe rainfall has flooded parts of Toronto, including what appears to be Drake’s mansion

Drake hasn’t posted any updates, but the news inspired a flood of posts about his situation.
And, yes, some people thought it was a continuation of the recent rap beef he had with Kendrick Lamar.
