Drake Whispers His Bets In Homemade Stake Promo

Drake has released a funny promotional video for the gambling platform Stake, part of its “Playing Stake In Quiet Places” series.

In the video, Drizzy sits in front of his laptop, surrounded by a serene and peaceful golf course, celebrating his wins. It is clear, however, that the Toronto rap star wants to play in silence.

Throughout the video, the Her Loss hitmaker makes it a point to quiet down those around him, including a friend “whose muscles are making too much noise.”

He shared the post on his Instagram on Monday (April 10), writing “Shhhhhhhhhhhh @stake,” in the caption.

The rapper joined the platform in December 2021, and has become one of its biggest public advocates since then.

It is no secret that Drake is known for placing huge bets, which either make him a lot of money or make his heavy pockets appear lighter — he’s even rumored to have an alleged curse that follows him.

However, in January, the rapper won a seven-figure bet on the Kansas City Chiefs, which defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship game and advanced to Super Bowl LVII.

In total, the 6 God bet more than $1.1 million on the Chiefs to win and ended up cashing out for just over $2 million in the process via his gambling sportsbook partner Stake. “@Stake let’s make today the day,” Drake captioned an Instagram Story showing his hefty betting slip heading into the pair of Championship games.

After his bet came through, Drizzy celebrated by reposting a Story from Stake congratulating him on his “light work” victory.

The OVO boss had some making up to do in his bank account after losing a separate $850,000 bet on the San Francisco 49ers, who were throttled by the Philadelphia Eagles 31-7 earlier in the day. With odds of 1.87, the unsuccessful wager would have netted Drizzy an additional $1.9 million in winnings.

Last July, the rapper won a total of $24.9 million in an online game of roulette. During the virtual event, Drake (a.k.a. “Deep Pockets”) was joined by special guest French Montana, who watched the actor-turned-rapper win $12.96 million and $11.95 million on individual bets — both on the same number.

“You know what that deserves? Ah haaan!” Drake yelled while celebrating the former. “And I got my special guest in the building, take a seat. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with my brother, my twin, my lookalike Montega.”

At one point, Drake’s balance reached almost $27.2 million — over triple the $8.5 million he started with — but in the end, it proved to be a brutal night at the table as he finished the event with just $1,879 in his account.
