After performing for over 10 million people since kicking off her international whirlwind in March 2023, Taylor Swift finally brought her record-breaking Eras Tour to a close this weekend.
And while he was able to attend several of her other concerts throughout the course of their relationship, Swift’s boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, was unable to attend her final show of the tour due to his own work schedule.
But some eagle-eyed Swifties think that the Super Bowl winner still found a way to celebrate his girlfriend’s career achievement after his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, won their game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Dec. 8.
It all started when the tight end chatted with reporters in the locker room after the 19-17 win, where it appeared he was distracted and not as engaged in the post-game conversation compared to other instances.

Fans on X (formerly Twitter) thought that maybe he was trying to watch Swift’s performance online, writing, “HOMIE JUST WANTS TO GET ON A LIVE STREAM 😭 LEAVE HIM ALONE” and commenting that the reporters needed to “Let that boy get his friendship bracelets and merch on.”
Other fans were convinced that Kelce was going to try to make his way to Vancouver, where the final concert was taking place, writing, “HE WANTS TO GET ON THAT PLANE” and stating, “He wants to race away on a private jet!”
Although Kelce ultimately did not make it from Kansas City, Mo. all the way to the west coast of Canada for the last parts of the concert, it was a momentous night in its own right for the football star.
Not only did Kelce become the fastest tight end in NFL history to reach 12,000 career receiving yards that night, but his team managed to clinch the NFC West in the final seconds of the game.
