Dave East Calls “Old Town Road” Wack, Lil Nas X Appears To Respond
Dave East unleashes old head energy on this fine Thursday.
“This fuckin’ ‘Old Town Road’ shit is fuckin’ wack. I don’t know what the fuck is going on with hip-hop,” he said. “I ain’t no hater, man, but that shit is wack with a cape on it. It’s super wack.”

It appears though that Lil Nas X may have caught wind of East’s comments. The rapper shared a small snippet of Kevin Hart talking about how “hating” is the cool thing to do.
East may have caught some backlash for his comments but at the end of the day, it hasn’t taken away from the fact that it’s one of the hottest songs out right now. The song debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 before the remix featuring Miley Cyrus dad helped the song maintain its position for a second week in a row.
