Chiefs President Issues a Bold Response to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Relationship Claim

As fans continue to debate whether or not Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have a legit romance or if their entire relationship is a marketing stunt, one of Kelce’s most notable colleagues is convinced the former is true.

Kansas City Chiefs president Mark Donovan gave his opinion on the famous couple during a recent appearance on CNBC’s Squawk Box, and it seems he’s in favor of the pair’s positive influence.

“I’d love to say that it was a marketing strategy, but it is an authentic relationship, and we’re happy to have it,” Donovan said.

“It’s been nothing but good for us,” he continued. “I think the best thing I can say about the whole relationship and the impact it’s had on us is: Taylor Swift is an authentic member of the Kansas City Chiefs kingdom. She is an authentic fan, and that matters to our fans and our fanbase, and it matters to us and we try to respect that.”

Donovan isn’t the only NFL type to think Swift and Kelce are the real thing. Former NFL pros Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman said they thought the pair should think about starting a family on the Oct. 24 episode of their podcast Dudes on Dudes.

“He’s a superstar and he’s dating Taylor Swift,” Edelman said, referring to Kelce. “And they might have a kid. That would be a great kid.”

Former Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Patrick Peterson had a different opinion, however, which he shared on the GOLF’s Subpar podcast on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

When asked whether he thought the couple’s romance was “true love or a flash in the pan,” he immediately responded by saying “Flash in the pan.”
