Cam’ron has spoken out in defense of Ja Morant in the midst of the ongoing spectacle surrounding his recent gun troubles.

On the latest episode of his sports talk show It Is What It Is, the Dipset rapper spoke up for Morant against the exotic dancers who demanded an apology from the basketball superstar.

The Memphis Grizzlies point guard appeared on Instagram Live back in March and brandished a gun inside a Colorado strip club, resulting in him being slapped with an eight-game suspension.

It Is What It Is co-host Ma$e opened the humorous dialogue up by insisting that Killa Cam start things off.

“Alright, I heard about kicking a dog when he’s down, but y’all bitches buggin,’” Cam’ron said. “Listen, if Pooh Shiesty was in there with a pistol, and stuck it all in your face, you’d be hype and all types of shit.

“If [Lil] Durk came in there and smacked you with the pistol, you’d fall on the floor and do a muthafuckin’ backflip and love it, as long as he throwing money on you. Now, because n-gga Ja Morant going through a little something, y’all see it’s all NBA and gun control.”

He continued: “A n-gga got a pistol in the strip club every fucking night. It’s a n-gga with a pistol in there and he’ll turn ya bitches on. Y’all get excited when y’all see the pistol. N-gga drink a bottle, show you the pistol, throw the 1’s and you go home or slide with that n-gga. Now you wanna kick Ja Morant when he down? That’s fucked up.

“Now, Adam Silver and the rest of the NBA, they got a right to do that. Y’all dancers see guns every night. Cut the shit. That’s my opinion.”

Cam ended his rant by saying he doesn’t have any issues with strippers, but rather the actions they’re taking to wish for Ja Morant’s career to end.

Cam’ron’s comments stem from a group of strippers speaking out after both the March gun-toting incident and a second video that surfaced earlier this month showing Ja Morant flashing yet another firearm on social media.

“I don’t foresee an apology [anytime] soon,” one of the dancers said, according to The New York Post.

“He’s clearly begging for attention and trying to be a baller,” another dancer said, per the outlet. “He should be banned from all clubs and get his NBA career taken away given our country’s current circumstances on gun violence.”

Meanwhile, Memphis’ own Moneybagg Yo also recently gave his perspective on Ja Morant’s ongoing troubles, chalking them down to his age.

“He 23, I feel like it’s just a phase,” Big Speaker said on 360 With Speedy Morman. “He prolly don’t even understand … When I was 23, 24, I was just doing stuff and I had to bump my head and God had to boom, boom. I’m grateful to make it out those situations; some people don’t even shake back from certain situations.”

He added: “But Ja prolly don’t even know what it is right now. He prolly don’t even believe this his life right now. This just one of them phases. Ja gonna snap out of it. Of course, I gave him encouraging words and he was like, ‘Preciate that big bro, I got you, I’ma get it right.’”
