Bodi district assembly members receive motor bikes
The Bodi District Assembly of the Western North Region has presented eighteen motor bikes to members of the Assembly to assist in their daily line of duties.
Mr Ignatius Akwasi Amankwah the District Chief Executive, who presented the motorbikes, thanked the President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo -Addo and the Local Government Ministry for the assistance, which he noted would go a long way to help the members perform their duties as expected of them.
He appealed to the Assembly Members to put the motor bikes into good use by informing and educating the people in their various electoral areas on government policies such as the planting for food and Jobs, planting food and investment among others.
Mr Bernard Nkuah, the presiding member for the Assembly expressed his gratitude on behalf of his colleagues to the government and the DCE for the kind gesture and promised to put the motor bikes to a better use to assist the Assembly in its developmental drive.
“”Hon, on behalf of my colleagues, we express our deepest gratitude for such a wonderful gesture, we know is not for our personal use but rather to equip us in our electoral area works, and we are going to use these bikes in that regard,” he assured.
