Ariana Grande talks letting someone go.

Ariana Grande is currently on the road for her Sweetener tour and she took some time to share a deep passage to her Instagram story about letting someone go. “Sometimes, the reason for letting someone go is because they can’t help but hurt you during this phase of their life. When you love someone deeply, you learn what demons live within them and you realize they are hurting you because they are hurting somewhere within themselves,” the quote read, via Page Six. “They are fighting a battle within and may not even know it, so they take it out on you and fight you.”

It’s easy to assume that the “7 Rings” singer may be talking about her ex-fiance Pete Davidson, diving into more reasons why their relationship ended.

“Decide to let them go, but not because you’re being petty and resentful. You let them go because you really believe that the both of you can find the healing you truly need without being together and hurting each other in the process,” the note (written by Horacio Jones) read.

In other Ariana news, the singer recently got a new tattoo that covered up one she got done for Pete. The new ink, in honour of Mac Miller’s dog, is placed on top of Pete’s dad’s firefighter badge. “Not a cover up just evolvin,” she captioned the tattoo.
