Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son Pax Jolie-Pitt has been released from ICU following a horror electric bike crash last week.
The 20-year-old sustained a head injury and suffered “complex trauma” from the crash on July 29, and now faces a “long road of recovery,” sources told People.
“Pax has been released from the ICU. He suffered complex trauma, and now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy,” an insider told the outlet.
The “Maleficent” actress continues to be by her son’s side, as do his siblings, the insider adds.
Pax’s brothers and sisters “have been visiting and helping. They are all very close.”
Page Six has reached out to Jolie’s reps for comment.
As for Pax’s estranged father and “Bullet Train” star, a rep for the 60-year-old actor declined to comment.
Pax was rushed to the hospital last Monday after he crashed his electric bike into the back of a car on Los Feliz Boulevard around 5 p.m., law enforcement sources told TMZ.
He sustained a head injury at the time of impact, and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Pax was immediately transported to a nearby hospital after complaining about a head injury and hip pain following the impact, the outlet added.
Sources told TMZ that Pax had been approaching an intersection when he crashed his bike into another vehicle, which had been stationary at a red light.
The other driver reportedly got out of the car to check on the Hollywood scion before emergency services arrived.
While it is not clear where Pax collided with the vehicle, bystanders told the site that his head was injured in the incident.
Pax is one of the six children Pitt and Jolie share.
Jolie and her third ex-husband are also the parents of Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
The former couple — who were declared divorced in April 2019 — adopted all of their children except for Shiloh, who was born in a Namibian hospital in May 2006, and the twins, whom they welcomed in July 2008.
Jolie and the children have had an estranged relationship with the “Bullet Train” star, 60, in recent years.
