Angela Simmons Seemingly Confirms Yo Gotti Dating Rumors With Romantic Photo
Angela Simmons has fanned the rumors of a budding romance with Yo Gotti after posting a photo of the would-be couple sharing an intimate moment.
The photo, which appeared briefly in Angela Simmons’ Instagram stories on Friday (November 18), saw the Growing Up Hip-Hop star smiling at another person, whose face was covered with a red heart. She captioned the post, “FOREVER MOOD.”
The picture was reportedly taken at a birthday party hosted by the C.M.G. boss for his mother.

The pair first sparked rumors that Yo Gotti’s years of lyrically shooting his shot had paid off when they were spotted partying together in September around Angela Simmons’ 35th birthday. The clip saw Simmons dancing and rapping along to Gotti’s “Down In The DMs,” the first song in which the Memphis rapper shared the identity of his crush with the world.
While neither addressed the party clip, weeks later, fans spotted some common shots as the two spent time abroad. According to HotNewHipHop, they each individually shared video footage of an excursion in Dubai.
A few days later, The Shade Room shared an Instagram post comparing snaps taken by Angela Simmons and Yo Gotti in Paris. Neither indicated who they were with in either city.
The relationship chatter came to a fever pitch last week when Angela was spotted attending GloRilla‘s album release party at Legacy Dumbo, in Brooklyn. Several pictures and video clips from the event, which was held on November 12, saw Angela Simmons standing close to Yo Gotti, though the two did not interact with each other much.
Yo Gotti followed up his famous “I just followed Angela (Simmons)” line from “Down In The DMs” with another mention on “Save It For Me” featuring Chris Brown, rapping: “Passed my number to Angela/ I thought I had her… Her n-gga cuffed her, married, it made me madder/ I respect it, I’m moving on, but the truth is I want her badder.”
At the time, Simmons was engaged to Sutton Tennyson, who was killed in Atlanta in 2018, a year after the couple had called off their engagement.
During a recent appearance on Tamron Hall, Angela Simmons shared that her 5-year-old son from the relationship, Sutton Jr., has begun asking her about the possibility of her eventually getting married.
“He’s like, ‘Are we ever going to get married? Is someone going to marry us?’,” she recounted. “Or he’ll ask stuff like that. This was a touching conversation because he told me. ‘I know my dad is in heaven and I’m gonna always have two dads because I know my dad will be my dad, but mommy when can we have someone? When will somebody be there for us?’”
